CoroCoro Comic June Issue Review~

Finally recieved the much anticipated corocoro comic June issue~

This issue has Big Ldrago Destroy Gold Armored Ver. smacked at the bottom left of the cover, do take note when purchasing your copy.

First up is a fold open poster page of the New CoroCoro Limited Exclusive Bey, Ldrago Destroy (Gold Armored Ver.)

Behind is a 3 page review on this limited bey and exclusive parts!

Besides being All Gold in color, this Limited Ldrago Destroy comes with a different set of Track and Bottom. Instead of the original F:S (Final Survive) the Gold Ldrago come with 'Down Force 105 Track' and 'Left Rubber Flat Bottom' parts. Not so limited as you can get those parts from BB-98 Ultimate Reshuffle Set Ldrago Ver. But hey, its in Clear Black~

If that is not good enough, perhaps a Super Exclusive Metal FaceBolt? A New design of the Ldrago is imprinted into the Metal Facebolt. The New Ldrago FaceBolt is also heavier than the original MetalFace 1 FaceBolt made at 5grams~ (MF1 = 4.64g)

Next Up, The New Legend Bey! Scythe Khronos T125EDS~!!!
"Takes No Damage!? Indestructable Defence!!" "Double Free Spinning Parts!?"

The Scythe Metal Wheel Consist of a Large Free Spinning Poly Carbonate Defence Ring on top of a very thin Metal wheel Core. Probably the thinnest MW so far.

When attacked by an opponent the Scythe MW's PC Free Spinning Defence Ring takes the Attack and Disperse its force! The process also retains its Balance. Scythe MW spin ratio Stamina UP! Also featured in the page is Legend Blader, Aguma. User of the Scythe Khronos.

A New Bottom is also introduced with Scythe Khronos, the Eternal Defence Sharp Bottom!
Following its previous Defence Sharp (DS) Bottom, the EDS retains highest defence and stamina capabilities. The Free Spinning Sharp prevents any lagging of the spin ratio from opponent's Attacks.
The Combination of the Two "Free Spinning" Parts of the Scythe Khronos makes the Bey 'Non-reactive' to Attacks!

Will be looking forward to test out this Bey when it comes, thou i am a little doubtful about the 'Free Spinning" PC Ring. I would have thought a "Free Spinning" Metal Wheel would be much more efficient. Well, perhaps I am wrong. Really hope that Scythe Khronos will perform like the "zombie Bey" from the past series.

The next page reviews the New Beyta Level 10 Prize Bey~ Mercury Anubis 85XF Legend Version.
After last seasons level 7 prize release collection, WBBA revamped the Beyta prize throphies~
Level 2 - Limited Green Pegasis FaceBolt
Level 5 - Bronze FaceBolt
Level 7 - Silver FaceBolt
Level 10 - Gold FaceBolt and Mercury Anubis 85XF Legend Ver.

Last but not least, a sneak peek at yet another Legend Bey~
"No Evolved Bey posesses a Shape like this Bey!
"War Rheasus?" "Warrior Rez?" "Vari Ares?" The name of the New Bey is pretty difficult to translate even when you know Jap.

This Bey is Not the Regular Circular shaped Bey types but pretty Hexagonal. Another exclusive thing about this Bey would be its ability to spin Both Left and Right! Looks like theres not only one LR spinning Bey anymore~
From the Image, the Bey seem to be similar to the Ldrago Destroy Metal "Clear Wheel" Making it another Heavy Attacker Bey.

Here we see the new LR Bey beating the original LR Rotation Bey Gravity Perseus.
More on this new Bey will be release in next months CoroCoro July~

Looks like the 4D Legend Beys are finally picking up. Next Issue also will feature the much anticipated Remote Control Beys. Sure looking foreard to that ya~

BB-109 Random Booster Vol.7 - Beat Lynx TH170WD

Always hunting for the Rare Bey and Parts in Random Boosters?
Well, not anymore because...

BB-109 Random Booster Vol.7 Beys are ALL RARE!!!
This special Random Booster is also known as the Rare Bey Series in Japan. It composes of parts from Game Premiums, Reshuffle Sets, Past Random Rare Premiums, Stadium Exclusive Bey...

Bey line up in this volume includes:

Gravity Perseus (Attack Ver.) BD145XF
Hell Horuseus 85RS
Vulcan Herculeo 130DS

Gravity Perseus (Stamina Ver.) 85DS
Tornado Horuseus 130RSF
Hell Herculeo 100XF
Vulcan Horogium BD145RS

and the Super Rare of this RBV...

BB-109 Beat Lynx TH170WD

Contents Include:
Lynx FaceBolt
Lynx Clear Wheel
Beat 2 part 4D Metal Wheel (PC and Metal)
Triple Height 170
Wide Defence
Stickers & Instructions
Tool

The Beat MW consist if a Poly Carbonate switch ring and a single layer Metal Wheel.
The PC switch ring enables the Beat MW to change between two modes:

Attack Mode: in this mode, the PC ring is fixed in within the MW, the 'ears' are exposed and creates a defined attacking point around the Beat Metal Wheel. While the 'Shield' portion of the act as a defensive protection, the 'Ears' enables a spike attack on the opponent when attacked.

Defence Mode: in this mode, the PC ring is switched and this time covering the Attacking 'Ears' of the Beat MW creating a 360 degrees Defence MW. The hollow parts where the PC ring was becomes "Counter Pockets" similar to BB-106 Fang Leone Counter Mode. This Counter Pockets allows maximum recoil against attacking opponents.

TH170 or Triple Height 170 is an exclusive rare part to Beat Lynx. As the name suggests, Triple Height 170 has 3 variable Heights to change from 170, 195 and 220. TH170 is sort of like an Evolution of Season 1 Change 120 (CH120).

Apparently the 3 Heights are to counter the 3 different range types of Beys.

170 is designed to unstablised High Beys like Flame Byxis 230WD

195 is able to counter Mid Range Beys like Hell Kerbecs BD145DS by attacking the opponent from top of their MWs.

220 is for avoiding direct MW contact from Low Attackers like Screw Capricorne 90MF, enabling similar capabilities as Flame Byxis Axle Theory.

Overall, the Beat Lynx TH170WD is what would be known as the Ultimate Balance Bey, not only does it have Attacking and Defence capabilities, it also can change Height to counter various opponent Beys. Kind of a 'One Bey has it All' type of Bey. Wouldn't say that its the best bey to use and the PC switch ring seems fragile but that aside, Beat Lynx TH170WD is definately a must have in any collection.
Even so, this Random Booster Volume is already worth by itself no matter what bey you get as ALL are rare anyway.

And of course like any other previous RBV reviews, the weighing charts~

In anticipation to collectors with kick ass weighing scales, Takara Tomy has included FREE cardboards in its Random Booster Volume 7. For those who don't know what it is for, the Free Cardboard(s) are included randomly in the RVBs to offset the weight of the individual boxes so that collectors can't easily weigh out and Recognise the Beys in the boxes without opening them.

Free Cardboards weigh on the average 1.94g to 1.98g per piece.

The Super Rare Beat Lynx TH170WD weighs 80.58grams (do NOT have any Cardboard).

Below are the weight of the rest of the Beys with Cardboard in Box.
Gravity Perseus (Attack Ver.) BD145XF = 80.49g (1 cardboard)
Hell Horuseus 85RS = 80.04g (1 cardboard)
Vulcan Herculeo 130DS = 79.24g (4 cardboards!!!)

Gravity Perseus (Stamina Ver.) 85DS = 78.62g (4 cardboards!!!)
Tornado Horuseus 130RSF = 79.04g (4 cardboards also!!!)
Hell Herculeo 100XF = 79.66g (1 cardboard)
Vulcan Horogium BD145RS = 80.07g (1 cardboard)

So there you have it, hope this weight list helps and for the record...

I got 30.76grams of FREE Cardboard!!! LOL

BB-108 Ldrago Destroy F:S

Probably the most anticipated 4D bey of this season.

BB-108 Ldrago Destroy F:S
the release of this bey was so overwhelming, some retail stores in Japan has to restock 3 times during the start of the sales to meet the demand of the queuing fans.

Contents Include:
Blank FaceBolt
Ldrago Metal Wheel
Destroy Clear Wheel
Final Survive 4D Fusion Track/Bottom
Light Launcher L and Ripcord (white)
Stickers & Instructions
Tool

Exclusive to Ldrago Destroy is its Full Metal "Clear Wheel" and its Fusion 'Destroy' Wheel. To put it in a simplified way, Ldrago Destroy has a switched MW and CW system where the Metal Wheel is placed on top of its Clear Wheel unlike the other 4D Beys.
The Fusion Clear Wheel is composed of a Poly Carbonate main frame embedded with Ldrago's signature Rubber absorb coating.

The Full Metal Ldrago Wheel weighs a whopping 38.63grams alone!

Ldrago Destroy like all hybrid Ldrago models is able to switch modes.

The Attack Mode: also the main mode of the Ldrago Destroy. The Attack mode hides the Rubber Absorbers under the MW, exposing only the PC parts. In this mode, the Bey is like one solid Metal Part. And due to the nature of the MWs even weight distribution, the solid body of the Destroy can knock any opponent without recoiling itself.

The Absorb Mode: similiar to its last version Meteo, the Destroy also has an Absorb mode. In this mode the Rubber Absorbers are exposed and creates a friction gap in the intitial open gaps in between the three dragon head parts. Upon contact with an opponent bey the Rubber Absorbers 'leeches' spin power and boost its own. With the more balanced Metal Wheel on top, the Destroy can more efficiently keep its balance during the 'leeching' process, much better than its previous design.

The most important part about the Ldrago Destroy is its new F:S fusion bottom.
The Final Survive fusion bottom is created to fully support the new Ldrago's 2 modes. Similar to BB-105 Big Bang Pegasis F:D, the F:S can also auto change between two modes. But in 'Reverse' to the Final Drive Bottom.

The F:S when at maximum spin force, is in Hole Flat (HF) mode, in this mode, the Ldrago Destroy will use it's Full Metal body to knock its opponent out if not damaging and reducing their spin ratio.

At Low spin force, the F:S changes to a Sharp bottom mode. Sharp being the best stamina bottom will stop the attacking Destroy and retains its remaining spin power. During this mode, if the Ldrago is in Absorb configuration, the Rubber Absorbers will come into play and 'leech' the opponent bey's spin power, making it rapidly loose spin power while increasing the Ldrago Destroy's spin ratio. Smart.

The Ldrago Destroy could probably be the most well designed Ldrago ever. The only set back would be the overly tall F:S system making the Destroy vulnerable to Low attackers. To counter that i would reccomend bladers to use Divine Chimera's Flat Ball (FB) bottom in replace of the F:S to get similar effects at much lower height.

Rumors of the Destroy Clear Wheel

There is a rumor going around in the WBBA design office that the Ldrago Destroy's Clear Wheel can actually be used with Meteo Ldrago's Clear Wheel. And guess what...

Its actually TRUE!!!
Though in my opinion this combi will deem useless due to its lack in weight and attacking capablities. Looks nice even when saying that ya.

So went on in adding Rock Giraffe's R145 and Grand Ketos Rubber Sharp bottom to create...

Ldrago Destroy R145RS!!! Full Rubber Ldrago!!!! LOL
